Twisted Pixel Games is seeking a highly motivated and talented Character Modeler to join our team. The
ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have a team-oriented,
collaborative approach to development, and is passionate and proactive in doing what it takes to make
the best games possible.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Model and texture primary and secondary game characters.
• Collaborate with animation and character teams to create set ups and control rigs.
• Facilitate tools for exporting rigs to the engine.
• Prepare character assets for export to game engines, as well as set up within game engine.
• Manage character related source art.
• Provide support to character-related outsource efforts.
• Help troubleshoot, diagnose and correct art-related performance issues.
• Specify and develop art production tools under the guidance of the tools programmer.
• Identify ways to increase efficiencies in artist workflow and production pipelines.

Skillset & Requirements

• Extensive Experience modeling hard surface and organic character models in a variety of visual
styles (Realistic/Stylized).
• Ability to generate highly detailed models as well as game-ready models.
• Exceptional ability to texture character models, with a deep understanding of the process to
produce effective normal maps derived from high-poly models.
• Clear understanding of modeling for facial animation rigging as it pertains to both key frame and
motion capture work flows.
• Deep understanding of character model requirements for rigging and animation purposes.
• Clear understanding of organic anatomy and mechanical function of characters.
• 4+ Years of Experience with Maya or Max.
• Proficient in ZBrush and the pipeline between ZBrush and Maya.
• Able to take constructive criticism and apply feedback notes to character assets.
• Technical problem-solving skills.
• Deep understanding and experience of the supported disciplines: Modeling, Animation, etc.
• Proactive about making things happen with a drive to continue to learn and grow as an artist.

Twisted Pixel is looking for talented, creative, and self-motivated individuals to take part in the
testing process for our upcoming game productions. In this role we seek
individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment, possess outstanding communication skills,
have strong interpersonal skills, are professional, and have a desire to assist in the creation of
awesome games.

Duties & Responsibilities
· Execute test plans to thoroughly test all aspects of our games including: functionality,
stability, performance, interface, art, sound, dialogue and text.
· Identify and reproduce issues.
· Enter issues into a database in a clear and concise manner.
· Run regressions to verify that all issues have been resolved.
· Become proficient at the game(s) assigned.

Skillset & Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent is required, some college preferred.
· Passion for video games and pursuing a career in the video game industry.
· Available to work the occasional night and/or weekends.
· Basic computer experience including knowledge of MS Office, Google Docs and Sheets.

Gameplay Programmer

Seeking an accomplished Gameplay Programmer to work with a team of experienced engineers on an unannounced game using our proprietary engine and tools. Candidate would be expected to work in several areas of game development, however would be primarily tasked with gameplay related functionality.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a team-oriented, collaborative approach to development, and be experienced in many areas of game development—including programming tasks related to a variety of subjects such as physics, graphics, gameplay, networking, math, tools, etc. Candidate must be focused on the quality of their work, be able to learn quickly, be able to complete any programming task efficiently, and be able to grasp new technologies and concepts quickly.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Implement gameplay related tasks
  • Perform research to acquire new knowledge necessary to perform assigned tasks
  • Design and develop technical features specific to the game
  • Design and develop game systems that contribute to the core technology framework
  • Work closely with game designers, producers, engineers, and artists to ensure the highest quality product

  • Develop high quality visual effects and particle systems for a variety of gameplay and cinematic scenarios.
  • Assist with advanced material creation, post process effects and lighting as needed.
  • Work closely with the Art and Design teams to ensure the highest quality assets are delivered.

Skillset & Requirements

  • Expert in creating compelling Visual effects in any VFX creation software.
  • Ability to author original textures and assets for use in visual effects design.
  • Experience creating 3D assets and materials in Maya or another 3D package as needed to support effects.
