Seeking a highly motivated and talented technical artist capable of filling a wide variety of roles related to technical art. The ideal candidate will have an extensive knowledge of Maya, contribute a high level of creativity and personality, have a team-oriented/collaborative approach to development and is interested in doing what it takes to make the best games possible.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Rig and weight characters, vehicles and props while working within the limitations of a game pipeline.
  • Support our Animation and Art team with scripts and tools that simplify or speed up production.
  • Assist with creation of visual FX, materials and lighting as needed.
  • Work closely with Art Directors and Leads to ensure the highest quality assets are delivered.

Skillset & Requirements

  • Experience rigging and skinning in Maya and the ability to create and support complex rigs that work with both motion capture and keyframe animation.
  • Experience with Mel or Python.
  • Familiarity with Visual FX creation.
  • Familiarity with lighting, materials and post effects.
  • Excellent time management skills (for assigned tasks) and the ability to handle large workloads efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Seeking an accomplished Lead Gameplay Programmer to work with a team of experienced programmers on an unannounced game using our proprietary engine and tools. Candidate would be expected to work in several areas of game development, however would be primarily tasked with gameplay related functionality.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a team-oriented/collaborative approach to development, and be experienced in many areas of game development—including programming tasks related to a variety of subjects such as physics, graphics, gameplay, networking, math, tools, etc. Candidates must be focused on the quality of their work, be able to learn quickly, be able to complete any programming task efficiently, and be able to grasp new technologies and concepts quickly.

Twisted Pixel Games is looking for an exceptionally talented artist to join our concept art team. Are you within arm’s reach of a sketchbook at all times? Do you doodle constantly? Does the warm glow of a Cintiq monitor fill your heart with joy? If so, we may have the opportunity you are looking for!

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop concepts from quick sketch iteration to final fully-realized art, evolving and adapting the design as needed by the design team.
  • Work closely with the Art Director and the 3D art team to turn your beautifully proportioned, magnificently colored, personality-oozing creations to life.
  • Visualize ideas for ALL aspects of video game development, from environmental pieces to characters, weapons, visual effects, vehicles… basically anything.
  • Create precise drawings of blue sky concepts for 3D artists to work from.
  • Help develop a unique mood and feel for each project through your masterful use of color, value, framing and posing in your images.

Skillset & Requirements

  • Adept in Photoshop, other 2d and 3d software knowledge is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work within established art styles as well as adapting to help create new IPs.
  • Strong traditional art skills including an understanding of proportion, composition, color theory, lighting and perspective.
  • Awesome communication skills, and the ability to take and give constructive criticism.
  • Be a self-motivated art beast with a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills.
  • Able to produce quality work quickly in a deadline-driven, fast paced environment in both prototype and production capacities.
