  • Plan, organize and manage all QA programs, processes and activities

Twisted Pixel Games is seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior level Animator capable of creating both realistic and highly stylized motions. The ideal candidate will have an extensive knowledge of Maya, contribute a high level of creativity and personality, have a team-oriented/collaborative approach to development, and is interested in doing what it takes to make the best games possible.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Bring game play concepts and cinematic sequences from an initial greybox/blockout state to a highly detailed finished product.
  • Work with designers and programmers on a daily basis.
  • Objectively critique ALL animations.
  • Work closely with Art Directors and Leads to ensure the highest quality assets are delivered.

Skillset & Requirements

  • 6+ years of direct experience in game development as an animator with successful shipped game experience.
  • Extensive experience animating in Maya.
  • An understanding of cinematography, weight, pacing, and timing.
  • Strong demonstration of key-framed animation workflow.
  • Experience animating dialogue.
  • Excellent time management skills (for assigned tasks) and the ability to handle large workloads efficiently.
  • Proactive about making things happen.
  • Desire and ability to put in the time and effort necessary to make a game great.

Pluses

  • Experience with rigging and skinning.
  • Experience with motion capture technology and its Maya pipeline.
  • Experience with current generation game engines like Unreal, Radiant or Unity.

Twisted Pixel Games is seeking an accomplished Tools and Systems Engineer to work with a team of experienced programmers on multiple projects in several areas of game development, however would be primarily tasked with systems and tools-related functionality.  The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a team-oriented, collaborative approach to development, be focused on the quality of their work, able to complete programming tasks efficiently, and learn and execute new technologies and concepts quickly.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify project-related technical risks or issues; ability to generate and execute creative solutions.
  • Perform research to acquire new knowledge necessary to perform assigned tasks.
  • Design tools and systems that assists in empowering the team to make a better game.
  • Architect and develop game systems that contribute to the core technology framework.
  • Implement tasks in the tools, game engine, and actual game.
  • Work closely with game designers, producers, engineers, and artists to ensure the highest quality product.
  • Complete tasks in a timely fashion as well as making sure they are robust, expandable, and fun.

Skillset & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years professional game programming experience.
  • Outstanding C/C++ programming skills, and ability to grasp complex systems.
