We’re really proud to be able to announce the next piece of downloadable content for The Gunstringer: REAL BIG SHOOTIN’, available December 15th on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace!

When we were given the opportunity to make some add-on content for The Gunstringer we didn’t want to just make more levels. Instead, we wanted to make some cool new experiences that satisfy the deepest, most unresolved needs that all gamers secretly have.

With that in mind, there’s one piece of closure that virtually all gamers have been waiting almost 25 years to live out. Something that tens of millions of gamers have longed for, day in and day out. Something that was thought impossible in game development circles…until now.  But, you’re going to have to play it to find out what it is.

"Jet-pack Lumberjacks?"

In REAL BIG SHOOTIN’, you’re on a one man mission to take down the baddest dude ever known: Mad Dog McDog.

Take a shooting gallery, add in ever-increasing rounds of difficulty and new locations, mix in some crazy weapon and enemy modifiers, spice it up with some multiplayer and unlockables, and baby, you’ve got a REAL BIG SHOOTIN’ stew going.

Now, we’re not ones to throw out the title “REAL BIG SHOOTIN’” and deliver some sort of standard sized shooting experience. See, normal guys to shoot would just be “Normal Shooting”, so we gave all enemies jetpacks.  Also, we gave some cows jetpacks too.

"Bring an umbrella outside today."

Normal shooting games usually try to give you a level playing field, whereas REAL BIG SHOOTIN’ won’t hesitate to make a round harder by inverting your gun movement, giving you only one shot per reload, or shrinking your reticle.

Your standard size game would be happy just to give you the same rounds over and over again. REAL BIG SHOOTIN’ has a big pool of available shootin’ that’s different every time you play, making your journey to blasting a dog to pieces unique for each playthrough.

We also made the name of the game all caps, so that you were aware that we are serious about the shootin’ being real big.

Your 240MSP doesn’t just get you the REALEST, BIGGEST SHOOTIN’ available, though. You also get a whole set of new achievements to prove your realness and a new set of big unlockables for you to check out!
