Gunstringer Demo Available Now!
Big news everybody! Our retail release is just around the corner on September 13th but if you want an early taste of revenge with the Gunstringer, we’ve just unleashed a demo on Xbox Live Marketplace!
The demo includes two acts that will give you a small slice of the gameplay, characters, environments and music from the full retail game, which includes over twenty acts of puppeteering mayhem.
Fire up your Xbox 360 and navigate to the Demo section of the dashboard or take a look on Xbox.com right here. If you’re an Xbox Live Gold member, you can down load it right now, silver members may have to wait a few more days.
The retail version of The Gunstringer comes out September 13th for $39.99, packed full of big Texas sized bonus content including a download token for a full version of Fruit Ninja Kinect AND a free Gunstringer DLC pack called The Wavy Tube Man Chronicles.

Was playing with my brother in the room, and when she were near the end of the demo, we laughed our butts off at a certain audience reaction. You did it again, Twisted Pixel!

Great looking game, fun demo and I’d probably like to purchase the full game but annoyingly I purchased Fruit Ninja last week – will I be able to purchase a cheaper version of this game without Fruit Ninja, or will I be refunded the Microsoft point I’ve spent on Fruit Ninja already?

Hey Dan, there’s no immediate plan to release a version without Fruit Ninja so your best bet may be to use the Fruit Ninja Kinect token to barter with or bribe your friends. Or you could give it away and spread the fruit chopping experience to a lucky soul. Thanks for your interest in our game, we hope you enjoy it!

Great game idea! I hadn’t even heard about this game until I saw the demo on my Xbox home page thingy; I thought it was very unique and downloaded it immediately. Played it, enjoyed it, and I plan on purchasing the game next week. Question: Are there any plans of releasing an actual marionette toy of The Gunstringer? He is by far one of the coolest looking video game characters around, and I’d love to have him hanging around in my living room! Thanks.

Kristin – thanks for the kind words about our game and Gunstringer character! You’re in luck – the marionette toy version of him will be available on our web store in October. Here’s the link to keep an eye on: http://www.twistedpixelgames.com/store.htm
